A sublime gilded and polychromed late 18th Century Venetian Rococo Centre Table. One of the most important features of this table is its original and highly sought after Breche Violette Marble top. In serpentine form, Rocaille and Scroll decoration with Cabriole legs joined by a scrolled X-stretcher centred with an Urn of Prosperity. The table, unlike a console can be viewed from all sides in the centre of a room and would work as either a stand alone side table, occasional table, or against a wall as a console with a beautiful Italian mirror above.
